Next Door Sales program. Properties are available for purchase through the
program for seven days.

If more than one person submits an offer on a single home a selection will
be made by random lottery. You must meet the requirements
for a law enforcement officer, teacher, firefighter or emergency medical
technician and comply with HUD's regulations for the program.
HUD requires that you sign a second mortgage
and note for the discount amount. No interest or payments are
required on this "silent second" provided that you fulfill the three-year

Applicant Eligibility: Purchasers must be
employed as a full-time law enforcement officer, teacher, firefighter, or
emergency medical technician, and must certify that they intend to continue
such employment for at least one year following the date of closing. The
eligible purchaser does not need to be a first-time homebuyer.
purchaser (or spouse) cannot have owned another home for one year prior to the
time a bid for purchase is submitted, and the purchaser must agree to live in
the HUD home as the principal residence for 3 years after move-in.
